可以，需要的话可以创建这样的模块供选择语言。
另外实在抱歉 前面回复错了。应该是：同时提供了 FireBoard_1.1.0_Alpha for Joomla 1.5.x

Fireboard 1.1.0 的有中文语言包的 （不记得是否发布过，假如没有我去补上。）。另外 它就是 for joomla1.5.x 序列的 。我测试过, 没有问题。
